Spencer Von Hariton is a lovely classic 2 year old German Shepherd.  He was an owner turn in, due to moving and downsizing, at a high kill boisterous shelter, and he was a very unhappy boy.  Our senior trainer and his Westside alumnae Etta, doggy volunteer extraordinaire went to see Spencer.  Spencer was so afraid to leave his run, the kennel worker handed the leash over to our volunteer.  He coaxed him out, and held him and spoke to him, and slowly Spencer relaxed and wagged his tail. What a doll!  We knew there and then we needed to save him.  Spencer is just fine around all dogs, humans, and even seems fine with cats.  Come meet this gentle soul.
